Each gentle Kripalu yoga class starts with a centering, bringing attention inward then moving into gentle warm-ups before gradually entering into classic yoga postures. We finish each class with a period of rest.
Emphasis is placed on bringing the awareness to the breath, maintaining a steady, smooth and deep inhalation and exhalation.
Each posture is entered into gradually, in stages so that you can find a place to work that suits you, finding a balance between release and resistance.
There is room for every body in Kripalu yoga.
